KITEBOARDING / KITESURFING LOCATION 3 mi (5 minutes)

Essentially it works just the way it sounds: riders hop a surfboard, hold onto a control bar connected to a large, colorful mini-sail, and take off, jumping high above the waves.

The main track is 1 1/8 miles in circumference and the turf course is seven furlongs. The turf course is 170 feet wide, which allows the inner rail to be moved in and out, thereby reducing wear and tear, which in turn allows for more turf races to be carded. The Casino at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino is where the action is authentic, the excitement is in a class all by itself and the slots are real.
